Pros

Vast majority of people are really nice. Decent relationship between shop floor and office staff and the events VA hold quarterly are very good.

Cons

Worst management team you’ve ever seen. Everyone is scared of making a decision, even over £2 orders. Paperwork is an absolute JOKE and every single thing whether it’s design review or purchasing something has to go through the md, twice! Very frustrating place to work and upper management are disrespectful to people ‘below them’.

Toxic place to work

Pros

Some work colleagues made it worth the drive into work everyday

Cons

Unless your face fits (not many in that group), you are initially made to feel welcome in the company, but that soon wanes. Management either consistently ignore you or treat you like a child. Work is constantly checked and you are not allowed to have free reign on anything. Possibly the most unmotivating place I have ever worked. There is a reason there are so many bad reviews on here. Take note and do not work here. Oh and that felt like a breath of fresh air, actually writing something and not having it scrutinised before sending.

Pros

Put on special events throughout the year to try and help in boosting morale

Cons

This company used to be a fantastic family run business where you were Treated with respect and gratitude. Unfortunately now that is not the case, everyone in va techs eyes are expendable! The work load they expect you to do and crazy deadlines Push employees past breaking point to where the wages just aren’t worth what you have to do for it and they leave. The only new employees they can recruit for such low wages are really inexperienced and many don’t even have their own tools which then puts even more work and pressure on the loyal workers that have stayed with them.
