      Great culture

      Pros

Flexibility and great work and life balance. Great culture, underpinned by VMware's EPIC2 values and talented people. Lots of progression opportunities too.

      Cons

N/A As most global organisations, VMware is a very fast pace environment, and working with teams across different GEOs and time zones can be quite demanding

      Money-making machine

      Business Outlook

      Pros

You get the standard holidays. If you are sick you get paid. Their redundancy payments are good. It is really great if you love being a number. In that context, the chances of getting other slave-jobs within the company are good.

      Cons

VMWare is a money-making machine. They pay lip-service to anything pro-employee. The managers generally know very little of what you actually do and don't understand the challenges you face - and so their help is limited or absent. Internal assistance is from colleagues only - don't expect much help from other teams. Everyone is covering their own back - simple as that. This is all true - except if you know the right people. Then yo can land yourself an easy job which an absurdly high salary.

Great products, strong partnerships with hardware vendors. Ability and accessibility to work from home.

      Cons

Poor work/life balance but great energy

      Cons

VMware changed a lot of the things and most of the pivots decided to leave the company.
