Nice people to work with. Apart from management. It's not exactly in the heart of Canary Wharf but close enough.

Honestly the business is a disgrace, working here will not help you in any way to or further you're career or teach you. Management are extremely unprofessional with no regard for employee's worth.

Expect long process for the interview. They will show interest in you but keep you waiting for long time. Unprofessionalism reflects in their communication which I tend to ignore considering the job profile that was offered. If you join expect culture shock, as most employees speak the same language (not English). If don't know the language they speak it's difficult to cope. If joining, ensure you get the contract before you join. They don't follow UK norms and offer basic salary for 47hrs job. Also expect to work for long hours from day one. Highly unprofessional people with top management roaming around making sarcastic comments with unrealistic expectations from employees. Read reviews before joining. Make your opinion but at the same time do not neglect reviews. After joining, If you get the feel of unrealistic unprofessional attitude from the organisation leave immediately as they have fire without notice policy. There are ample reviews on the same. 45 hour week. Imperious, arrogant, incompetent management - destructively hierarchical with every tiny decision going through the CEO and everyone scuttling around trying to please him. Oppressive atmosphere. Customers and employees are treated alike: like dirt - just read reviews anywhere. Any positive ones you see will have been added by Vectone employees. Most people working there seem to do so as they need the visa. I left a perfectly job good to start a more senior role there and was let go after 3 days with no explanation. They have 4 people working in HR - way more than necessary for the size of the company, but this is necessary as they hire and fire so much. Insane, short-term, brutal. Please believe me: avoid this place if you possibly can.

The most unprofessional bunch of people you will ever come across. In the beginning, they are desperate to hire you and after a couple of days, they just fire you. No reason provided. Recently they terminated the whole team without any notice. This company is a joke, stay away from this.

The only pro would be that the office is based in Canary Wharf. It's quite central. Makes you wonder how that's even possible.

There is a poster in the office of Charlie Chaplin and about enjoying laughter.. A bit ironic as no one cracks a smile. Just plain simple if you get offered a job don't say accept.. You will be wasting your time. They monitor your every move. (Face scanning, computer and phone monitoring) Messed up office culture messed up management.

Everything is about the mood boss. If he likes you and is in a good mood, you can almost have a normal work life (If you are a white skin girl, French or Italian you have more chance) but the most he likes you, the most he will hate you, one day without reason he will get bored about you and stop to talk to you, don't look at you anymore. If they fired you and you have a notice period, nobody is allowed to talk to you (because "there is no point" and people can be fired for that) so you are simply rejected, even they move your desk with nobody around you! If you have a strong personality, think and express yourself you can't stay a long time there. They like "slave" people who work and don't feel, just obey without thinking. The few people who are there for a long time, work in a fear, stay late every day (after 6.30), work for free every Saturday. Don't expect to have a team spirit, share idea in a team, to be trained from a senior profile as you can"t talk. If you talk, they don't care if it about the work, they think you are chatting and you can be fired. You can be fired every day, for any reason. Be late, talk, use your phone, boss mood.. You are recorded, filmed and observed by the boss. Massive turnover, every day there is new faces as everyday people resign or get fired. The main question is "who is the next?. You don't work with the serenity feeling, nobody is safe! If you are in the company for more than 6 months, people looked at you like a survivor. Managment... Boss approves everything for every little thing he has to agree, so depending on his mood, he can decide that this is not what he likes/wants and makes change everything. If he wants to change something, don't think, don't suggest, just do it! Because his mood changes every time, of course, this is very hard to keep guidelines and have a consistent brand identity.
