      Rotten R&D culture from top down

      Pros

      Pays well. Meets a market need. Seems to be hitting sales numbers.

      Cons

      All the chaos of a very disorganized startup, plus the bureaucratic oppression of a Microsoft. The CTO is too involved in day-to-day operations. The VP is a micro-manager who thinks every team should work the same way. The platform has a high cost of ownership and an unsolvable amount of technical debt due to poor architecture. The entire Product team churned last year, but the new team is clueless and doesn't understand customer needs. Morale among engineers is very low and there is no real desire to improve it.

      Pros

      Verifiable has excellent product market fit, which contributes greatly to customer happiness. The company is run very well, from financial and people management to product roadmaps and the leaders in this company are smart, driven and empathetic, making it a great place to work. The culture encourages individual growth and team collaboration simultaneously so that everyone feels valued while working towards common goals. The company is on a great trajectory, and it's great to see good people and product winning.

      Cons

      The remote work culture is overwhelmingly a positive, but it would be nice to have more structured cross-functional collaboration and socialization. The benefits could also use some improvement, but I know this is something they are working on as the company scales.

      + Clear product market fit with opportunity to make an impact + Engaged, low ego teammates & executives all willing to help + High transparency across business on how the business is run + Great reputation within the Salesforce ecosystem & VC community + Lots of opportunity for ownership and growth if you lean in + High standards for all, employees and leaders - half-assing or hiding wont work here

      Cons

      - Still in its growth phase and developing processes for scale and "writing it all down" for future hires & onboarding - Remote-first culture requires you to opt-in to engage with your coworkers (along with offsites and regional meetups)
