    Had great management. But restructures happens and people were put in their positions that had no business being there

    Constantly restructuring for the needs of the business. Lost track of the people that mattered.

    Pros

    One of the best compensation packages around. PTO/Vac is second to none! Opportunity for advancements and movements between different channels within different sectors of business. This means you have chances to be able to live in different locations as the company has opportunities literally in all 50 states.

    Cons

    Progression and promotion is heavily tied to "WHO YOU KNOW" rather than your skill sets. Salary negotiation is very difficult for internal employees when promoted to higher roles. People leave the company mainly due to bad upper management as some of them have no transparency. Direct management only cares about themselves and their numbers to hit and have very little interest in employee development. Work can be hard to figure out if you are new, since the training isn't sufficient enough to teach all aspects of the internal system. Mid to High level learning curve if you are not familiar with telecom industry.

    Cons

    Lots of training in a classroom, and then Management says "go get em." On a scale of 1 to 10 in effectiveness of training, I would say it was a 3. Don't prefer the Verizon culture, which is all about getting more from your customers. You can do that, while not feeling that way.
