Fast growing company and a brand I am proud to be a part of. The products are great and I am fortunate to be hands on helping to create new products
Cons
Mistreatment from the President of the organization. If you are not white and come from an affluent to family, do not apply here. The racism stems from the Clique Media/Who What Wear culture.
The company is fast-growing and I truly believe in what we are building. It is a value driven company who's values internally match up with values expressed externally. The culture is one of respect, support and positivity. There is a great focus on work/life balance and they don't expect the company to be your entire life. I report into the President of the company and I can honestly say that I've never had a better, more caring boss. I've unfortunately had a few family members pass during my tenure at Versed and the response from the company generally and our President in particular has always been concern for my wellbeing. She has been a great mentor who pushes me to be the best I can be in my role. In that, I am not exceptional; you can tell she cares about each employee and wants to create a work environment that supports everyone. They have worked hard to preserve the company culture despite being remote for over half the business' lifetime and having on-boarded roughly half the team during that time. In my experience as a person of color and a hiring manager, I can say that the company has put a lot of time and effort into ensuring that it's hiring practices and advancement opportunities are equitable. The company provides us with great opportunities to give back to our community from donation matching to participating in a voluntary task-force aimed at leveraging our brand platform to drive change around issues that are important to us. I feel accepted and appreciated by the team for who I am. I am very blessed to be part of such a talented team and work with good people who I respect.
Cons
The fast pace of growth in the company can sometimes feel a little overwhelming, though to their credit, the company has taken steps to address burnout amongst the employees in the past few months.
