They changed my job title and position about three weeks after I started (this was meant to be temporary, and I did get the opportunity to change back; more on that below).
Sunday-Thursday was abolished and EVERYONE went Monday-Friday. I was moved to packing without any new training and little notice beforehand.
Packing is fine, but it just wasn't right for me; I'm not good with cold and the loud music was startling (don't get me wrong, I do need music to work, but this was LOUD). My health problems were exacerbated from the refrigerated room and it got to the point where I couldn't even work anymore so I resigned and left.
The reason for three stars is because I felt like there wasn't much communication between the company and the farm, the farm and the pack house, and the company and the pack house. It just felt like, "go get 'em, tiger, go plant some lettuce." The Slack on corporate's end was mostly work related memes and selfies so I only went on it for directly messaging people. I'm all for good morale from corporate, but I would actually like to know more about what we're doing other than "lettuce".
