Awful team culture, horrible exec team

Pros

They work in a co-working space that offers beer on Fridays. Otherwise...can't find a pro

Cons

CEO Jesse Moeinifar is condescending, self-absorbed and ignorant. Doesn't care about his team, all he cares about is he makes money. Company culture is manifested top down, and Jesse is the reason this company has a revolving door of employees. People leave as fast as they come in.

Pros

- Great peers and that's about it

Cons

- As mentioned by other commenters the company relies on a lot of re-packaged software - Management is extremely sexist and borderline racist - Dishonest CEO who advocates for rigid working hours and is extremely inflexible - Often heard management speaking horribly about developers saying things like "devs are lazy, incompetent etc." - Management is incredibly inflexible on product direction and lacks skills or creativity to create innovative solutions - An astounding amount of turnover - Building solutions for a dying industry (news publishing/commenting) -Lack of transparency with employees

I’m responding to your anonymous and inaccurate commentary on behalf of all the passionate, funny, intelligent, and eclectic people who call Viafoura “home”. More specifically, the great peers that you, too, acknowledged working with. (Which begs the question: Why would so many great people work at such a “horrible” organization?) No company is without challenges and Viafoura is no exception. We openly acknowledge areas of improvement and strive to correct them. Do not recommend!

Pros

- Good base salary for sales but chance of getting commission unlikely - co-workers are great - great location, right in the middle of king west

Cons

- like the other reviews have said, not a true ISV - managers act inappropriately more often than not - no defined career path within company - managers will compliment you to your face but say things behind your back
