      Pros

The people are what make this company! Fab travel concessions. As cabin crew option to take conpanions on your lay overs. Very stress free, you leave the working day behind when you step off that aircraft. Good amount of days off if you preference trips well. Good ability to swap duties too

      Cons

Can be very long hours, overpaid isn't paid you could work a 10 hour day or 24 hour. Same rates. Remote working, lacking support from managers. Never met mine. Leave bidding is done in senority. After 8 years I still couldn't get leave over Christmas, Easter or Aug Bank Holiday. Very much a payroll number.

      Pros

Working for virgin Atlantic was great, you got to see the world by being paid. Time off down route to explore. The lifestyle of work the days off and leave can be great.

      Cons

Long hours, working at unsociable hours as there is always night flights, jetlag, standby call outs, being away from home, busy flights.

Nowhere can be perfect, but VA is a great place to work in comparison.

      Pros

Great culture that is promoted and genuinely felt cared for. I was working on new technology (in comparison with other places I've worked), quite exciting. Seriously promoting Agile/Scrum working alongside DevOps... exciting stuff. In house training and culture without the feeling of being inadequate. Good working culture with flexibility and good managers who understood work life balance and family. Overall, lovely place to work.

      Cons

Location isn't well served for taking a train and buses aren't cheap. Pay isn't as good as other places but the benefits and work culture kind of make up for it. Can be a little bit too rigid in working within their own process and methodology. Could potentially be stuck on one project for a while so lack of variety. But the culture encourages you to speak up and request some variety. Sometimes there are long hours involved with project delivery.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We have a dedicated team of Performance and Development Managers and Crew Support Coordinators to help support all our crew, and we introduced a buddy system through our Workplace system for all new crew, so they can ask questions and get advice. Additionally having regular reviews with crew in their first year to discuss any concerns and ascertain what support they might need are the elements we have in place to try and address the feedback on new crew joining our team.
