I have been working at Vistaprint full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Really care about employee well-being, progression and personal growth
    Focus on learning and development
Supportive, flat structure across the org
    Great environment across global offices
    Fast moving, tech focused company

    Cons

Vast size can be a detriment - teams sometimes operate in silo and people focus on a specialist area, which can be interesting depending on the project, but limiting when the area isn't a business priority

I have been working at Vistaprint full-time

    Pros

Despite and because of recent poor performance in FY 19, Vistaprint is investing in world-class capabilities in analytically driven marketing, merchandising and pricing.

    Cons

Continuous change, but management is not afraid to course correct when necessary.

I worked at Vistaprint full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Salary + commission was good, PTO was very flexible and above industry standard (almost 4 weeks total), Office was modern, free snacks + coffee.

    Cons

The biggest con was upper management. While immediate managers were great, upper management never knew what was really going on, always making decisions that hurt the business, especially the sales team.

    Advice to Management

My advice would be to have open and honest conversations with employees to create a strategy on how to improve the business.

  10. "Good place to work in, not to grow"

    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Vistaprint (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Compared to the average employers in Spain, this is a good one. Pay is fair. Flat organisation and let you independently work on things that are valuable. Fast paced.

    Cons

Barcelona is seen as a cheap site for the company to have some of their functions. They don't see it as a place to invest in people growth, they prefer to do that in Boston where indeed all leaders are based on after a big restructure happened in 2017.

It's is good to spend the first years of work, but you'll need to move on if you want to keep growing.
Some of the managers have been there for ages and other talent cannot grow even though they have the capabilities.

    Advice to Management

Promote the talented people and get rid of conformists who come to work to get paid and are blocking talent to make things happen, specially in Barcelona.
