Pros

Free food Normal benefit package HR is kind

Cons

Hazing, bullying, rude and disrespectful unprofessional people. Management is a hands off manager until something happens then will recline in a chair during mediation and giggles the whole time. Not open to change or efficiently. If some one gets ahold of a project they will take it from you and work night and day (unpaid) to do it and make you look bad. Making spreadsheets that are overly complicated and inefficient- that’s the way to get promoted. Bonus points if they are mostly unusable. Also witch hunts against your fellow ‘teammates’ is required and encouraged. To top it off education is required here but your brain will rot. You will be teaching ‘senior’ staff rudimentary science so they will not screw up as badly. You will also be told that you do not have the capacity to mentor others - yet you will be asked to constantly mentor others. You will get no raise as you are female.

Pros

Free Food Standard Benefits Package Kind HR Director

Cons

Lots of redundacy leading to inefficient work flow, staff required to use software apps that regularly failed or lagged in addition to having to "back-up" data on overly complicated spreadsheets. Management will encourage feedback and ideas on how encourage team cohesion and better science practices in the workplace, but will take constructive feedback personally and retaliate. New employees will be hazed and told not to speak up when malpractice is observed because it may not be received well by colleagues who have been with the company longer. Staff will audit colleagues data in the hope of finding minute errors and to passive aggressively report to management to further themselves. Although there are minimum education and experience requirements in place for promotions, the criteria for higher pay titles will be strategically amended at the last minute so that under-qualified staff can move on to a higher pay scale. Staff new to the company were also told that they were not qualified to mentor others, despite being asked on numerous occasions to hold training workshops and give educational presentations.
