    Pros

Management has put a heavy focus on culture, and you can feel it. Free lunch (you just pay a small tax) 2 monitors at your desk, which is so helpful when switching between so many programs. The people here are really nice and welcoming. Only have issues with the older Male Supervisor on the floor being overbearing. Other than that, great people. Opportunity for growth is great. They try really hard to improve processes....

    Cons

Promotions are easy to come by, but the promotion is to a made up position for $0.25/hr more. Employees must know how to handle highly escalated customers and understand complex processes for $12-$13/hr. Other companies pay their call center employees $16-$19/hr to answer basic questions and give things away for free when someone is upset. Here, you have to actually THINK! You're incredibly busy all day, so you don't...

    Advice to Management

Interconnection ignores our questions and treats us like we are stupid. Make customer facing departments have inbound lines. Allowing people to only make outbound calls and have no way to reach them on an inbound line is frustrating. The Default team...

I worked at Vivint Solar full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Flexible hours. Cool inspirational fluff. Paid trips to Mexico

    Cons

Door to Door sales. Your area is everything. Sleazy management will lie about negative aspects to going solar. Commission only while sales take 4 months on average and they lie about bonuses from the start. They lie about “world class training”, it’s literally 16 hours of videos online with multiple choice questions. Their training is a joke They will lie about what average person makes because top guys boost the...

    Advice to Management

Actually invest more into training and don’t lie and say solar doesn’t affect moving. Don’t put new guys in Vietnamese areas where less than 40% of people speak English and average bill is $40 Get the company more organized and centralized..
