Doesn't RecommendNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at Volvo Car USA full-time for more than a year
Pros
The employment sales pitch was really positive!
Cons
Everything in the employment sales pitch was a lie! People with no prior leadership experience have been promoted to managerial level. Problems take months to get fixed, if ever. Management is not willing to take responsibility for the problems and stick their neck out to make advancements. "That's not my problem/responsibility" is a culture. Managers don't listen to employees despite one of Volvo's values being 'Utilizing the expertise of the workforce". Employee morale is so low it is not uncommon for more than one employee to just walk out on any given day. We are so under-staffed now that the remaining employees are being driven into the ground!

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Volvo Car USA full-time for more than a year
Pros
Beautiful plant and the area is very scenic
Cons
Poorly managed and treat employees with disdain and pettiness. They try and pitch themselves as environmentally friendly and forward thinking yet are owned by Chinese company, the world’s largest polluter and use bully tactics to manage people. Quality of car is terrible. The only thing worse is quality of upper management.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Volvo Car USA full-time
Pros
They've done a good job changing their product line into a solid European luxury car competitor.
Cons
Too many eggs in the electrification future basket? Looking for 30-somethings, no time for industry veterans.
