I worked at Waitrose part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working as a supermarket assistant on a cheese/deli counter was a great experience. Colleagues were experienced and helpful and quickly allowed me a considerable degree of freedom in carrying out my job, giving me plenty of responsibilities. Work was generally interesting and working in Waitrose's first-class customer experience environment was highly educative.

    Cons

Work could sometimes be stressful as you were occasionally required to deal with increased demand without additional staff, and on a few occasions staff shortages meant having to work two staff members' jobs at once.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, keep listening to and reflecting on the comments and experience of staff.
