Lots of legacy systems and out-of-date processes and the frustrations that go with them. Personal development relies on the quality of your line Manager so is patchy

Management and team leaders all stick together no matter what, too willing to lie and deny. No support whatsoever for those who really need it. Bullying by supervisors and team leaders is more than acceptable. You have to be a certain dreadful kind to fit in and get on. Not what it seems from the outside!!
