    Pros

Fast pace environment with plenty to learn.

    Cons

Management moves around too much. Makes it hard to keep up with different managements style of work and systems always down. Not enough hours given to employees.

I worked at Walmart eCommerce full-time

    Pros

It's reliable (mostly) work in that they hire about anyone. Advancement isn't hard considering the main requirement is simply to show up. Compensation is on par with other retail work but the benefits are in line with large companies, not your average retailer.

    Cons

The only thing is the schedules are all over the place and since they don't fire people easily, stores can end up overstaffed and cut hours back to balance a budget. Also since just about anyone can be hired in, and it's a near-minimum wage environment, most people who work here are not exactly go-getters and laziness is about the norm which is frustrating when trying to get any actual work done. HIgh turnover works in their favour since it's about the only way to affect change since people who have been here a while tend to have a mentality to just keep doing what you're doing and so improvements or small changes in procedures become herculean tasks.

    Advice to Management

People who don't show up to work need to be written up, disciplined and fired. It's ridiculous having co-workers joke that a suspension is nothing but a paid day off. Without firing anyone unless they steal or abuse customers, people don't care about showing up and working, they get paid their wage either way. And no, the profit sharing is so relatively minor and spaced out and capped, it fails to actually motivate anyone to do the right thing.

I have been working at Walmart eCommerce full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lots of in office perks. Benefits are decent, but the pay can be tough if you're trying to rent your own place. Also, if you're young, this position does have a lot of recent college grads.

    Cons

Your experience depends on which team you get placed on. Certain managers care more about your development than others.
