Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Warwickshire County Council part-time
Pros
Very experienced and fantastic Reablement Assistants. Good milage pay Some supervisor are brilliant Sick pay
Cons
In my opinion: Disorganised and poor process for new staff starters, for a county council I expected better. Unable to carry more than 5 days holiday passed the new year (April to April), they must be used before then. Some Reablement customers stay on with Reablement far longer than necessary. After the patient had become fully independent and did not require our help any longer, even when reported we would still be sent out to the customers to do nothing. This sometimes went on for some time, even weeks. Some supervisor are brilliant and some speak to you like rubbish and are pretty unprofessional. People skills training would do wonders here. 25 hour a week contract ( 5 hours a day paid)? You need to be available for 7.5 hours a day, 4 days a week and every other weekend. This to me was approx 37.5 hours a week. Must be able to attend patients at any point in the 7.5 hours : 7am - 2:30 or 2:30-10pm. That's 12.5 hours a week unpaid. If anyone in this day and age is asked to be available to work or on call, they should be paid for their time. It's not like I could just go out for lunch with friends or visit family or make appointments outside of the 5 hours because we are on call for 7.5 and unpaid! Something's not quite right there. I left as quickly as I started
