Leadership is incredibly toxic. Those in it currently are all yes-men to the Owner and President. It's not worth 'climbing the ladder' to work closer to them. Imagine being held accountable for circumstances beyond your control- that's Wasatch! You will have Leadership jump down your throat and crucify you publicly if there's any question about your loyalty, ability to do your job, or if they suspect that a client is leaving because of you. Regardless of how poor of a job THEY do, or how much they overcharge, you become a scapegoat for someone up the chain eventually. The expenses customers receive from Wasatch compared to what employees are paid are egregious. More than twice the income in some cases for an on-site technician than what the actual salary is for the technician added in combination with the fees for the helpdesk and managed services, it becomes mind-boggling that we can't be paid even a dollar or two more an hour, even when we're performing 'excellently'. But, it all likely gets funneled to the Owner and President to fund their vacations, cars, and million-dollar condo they loved to show off. If you don't like sports, gambling, drinking, or golf, you'll have a rough time 'rubbing elbows' with those above you. The Technicians like video games, but that's kind of a given.
