I worked at We Are Social full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Some managers are supportive and want to further your career. Overall they have a friendly and inclusive work culture. Great training programs and initiatives to make the agency better. Fairly good benefits.

    Cons

It doesn't have a mission everyone believes in, it can feel as if people are just there to get their paycheck. There is a lot of talk with little substance. Project management can be chaotic.

I worked at We Are Social full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The work is varied and if you're good it's relatively easy to progress quickly from a junior level.

    Cons

Bit of a log jam at the top of the company with senior management not completely in touch with what's going on. Redundancy rounds only affect the worker bees despite that not being a huge saving for the agency.

I worked at We Are Social full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good benefits Great people across all departments Regular Company meetings / events Medical care

    Cons

Loads of overtime especially on Design and Editorial teams Resource time management prioritizes client work, even though internal or new pitches also have deadlines Client services booking not enough time for Design & Editorial Teams They mention overtime would be paid on 'lieu', but you cannot never take the time off because of the work overload.

I have been working at We Are Social full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Amazing group of people. Friendly environment. Annual ski trip Beer fridge on Fridays Location Great clients

    Cons

I’m more junior roles, you’ll be right at the bottom of the heap, below freelancers. You’ll spend all your time finishing other people’s work. Very difficult to show off your skills or progress Often overlooked for external people than being properly trained and integrated into a workplace. Not the best place for progression and opportunity if you’re in the creative department. Low pay. company have a tick box diversity scheme which doesn’t favour merit over culture.
