      Pros

      - Great working atmosphere - Good pay - Most staff have a "can do" attitude

      Cons

      - Management don't listen to staff suggestions - Staff that are "difficult" get away with murder and are not addressed - You get loaded up with work if you show initiative - Guilty until proven innocent culture

Good pay and basic privileges but that's about it

22 Jan 2021 - Office Administrator in Nottingham, England, England

      Pros

      - Good pay - Good yearly pay increase

      Cons

      - Lack of respect for employees at the 'bottom of the ladder' - Very untrusting work environment (e.g. no internet on PCs, USB drives disabled) - The company always has to be 'right' and will fight against any query on their point of view to the detriment of staff if necessary. - Would rather staff take unpaid leave and receive no income than furlough (i.e.to look after dependants). - Have been told on several occasions how 'lucky' we are to have a job, as if we are charitable individuals and haven't worked for our positions. Have also been told 'JFDI' by Senior Management when querying an action. -Every Manager I have come across has been extremely poor. Whether through being old school or being down trodden in to not caring any more, not one has been an actual decent manager of people. - Lazy staff are given a free pass and those who actually work get put upon more to cover the load. - IT systems not fit for the purpose they are used for. - It's all about money. Figures are manipulated to fit the narrative the company wants to portray and to fit the KPIs they have been set. - Different rules and guidelines for different areas. MANY historical 'local' agreements which allows better working environments/perks for some areas which others are not allowed to access.
