I have been working at Whole Foods Market (More than a year)
Pros
One of the best American company in the uk. Greater environment and amazing discounts.
Cons
Team leaders and managers taking full advantage of regular team members. Some departments managers and team leaders are like celebrities you don’t even get the chance to seem them while team members her getting slaved. At HSK the people who are in charge of payroll and hairing new staff are straight racist if you ain’t European or one of them they won’t even haire you the worst part is the two ladies who are dealing with payrolls can’t even speak English properly lol
Advice to Management
Stop making people who can’t even speak proper English a team leader I mean we are in English a team leader should be able to speak and explain procedures properly not getting stuck and not even being able to pronounce or even read a simple sentence.

Cons
What team member happiness? I don't think this has been a thing for a while.
Standards are not as high most people think.
so behind the times with ordering, Stocktakes, and most other things
Senior Leadership is very poor and disorganised
Too many to actually list
Advice to Management
My advise to regional leadership would be to not act as though they are better than the rest of the team members I am sure that this is not what wholefoods was built on. Maybe they should chasing so many different trends and focus perfecting what their core. Stop forcing individual agendas on to the stores and start to do things more fairly. Start to try and understand why team member turnover is so high and maybe do something to fix it, like treat them like people that have lives and feelings.
look at doing fixed shifts for the team members so that they are able to plan there lives better with rotating weekends off.
Stop plotting and scheming and doing things in secrecy and be the transparent company that you claim to be. Please try and start to give people closer to what they deserve as opposed to doing their rating before even doing the job dialogue.
