Pros

Lots of exposure and responsibility Some good people

Cons

Management is like an old boys club. If you challenge decisions/requests, you won't go far. Have to be willing to say yes to ridiculous decisions management make without numbers behind them. Weekly (sometime daily) changes of direction and reworking numbers

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, we’re sorry to hear that you haven’t enjoyed your time here! We’re working really hard on our diversity programme, so that we can better represent all groups (not just men and women). We learn fast and always encourage you to challenge the decision, we lead from the front and understand that this can sometime mean that decisions are made quickly to help ensure we stay ahead of market trends. We are passionate about making sure we represent our employees, and we have lots of mechanisms to make sure we hear from them, through staff hubs and employee surveys. If you would like to contact one of our HR Team they would welcome all your feedback.

Pros

Other than the employee discount, none.

Cons

There is a group of people in the customer service department that control the working environment and are responsible for the high staff turn over. They do this through bullying, gaslighting and character assassination. If you get on the wrong side of them, their mission is to make you leave. Management are fully aware of this yet the main ring leader of this group is still employed there. Once that person’s current group of friends realise what’s happening and walk away, they build a new group of friends around them and the cycle starts again. This has been happening for years. If you are a narcissistic, corporate psychopath, you’ll do well here. If not, I would avoid like the plague.

Pros

There are some great, hard working people in Wiggle but very few of them get the recognition they deserve Its a very stressful environment but on occasion with get together as a team. ATM we are celebrating Tour De France I am a biking enthusiast so I do working in the industry

Cons

HR and payroll are borderline contemptuous of staff - I have heard them mocking members of staff several times now. Aren't they supposed to be the height of professionalism? I have thought about raising it with Senior Management but who would they go to? It jars with my values to do nothing but what can be done. I am deeply disappointed that the team that are meant to represent us behave in this way unchecked Corporate culture but zero benefits Can't work from home - not at all flexible for staff with families Constant redundancies that we never talk about

Thank you for your comments. We work hard to provide events for our employees who are cycling or sporting enthusiasts. This is why we have had exciting visitors, like sport and cycling legend Fabian Cancellara, to come in and take part in cycles and runs. We have had companies such as Gore, Garmin and Lab Series also visit us recently to keep us up to date on their products (and provide the odd freebie! Everyone loves a freebie!) So, we are thrilled that you have been enjoying them and our recent celebrations of the Tour De France (Our French breakfast buffets were eaten in minutes!) We take the comments about our teams really seriously as at Wiggle we pride ourselves on being approachable and team spirited (it’s the nature of a group of sporting fanatics getting together.) So we will be sure to take the necessary steps to check the information you have provided.
