Pros

Can make good friends. The office is new and big The work itself is interesting

Cons

Upper management is non-existent. Team leaders and senior personnel are more concerned with popularity within their cliques and than valuing members of their respective teams. Wages are too low for the work and current bonus system does not reflect work accomplished. Experienced employees are not valued and are pushed out regularly. Promotions do not reflect ability to do the job or interaction with members of the team, however it is about how malleable a person is to team leaders and management as to not promote a new way of thinking which would benefit other team members. HR does not care about employee relations and does not consider staff a priority. Management will berate and swear at employees for minimal mistakes yet will demand respect. No clear priorities regarding work received causing work to pile up which will be followed by criticism despite maximum effort given. Employees will rarely receive positive feedback for work done, however criticism is given on an almost weekly basis. Team leaders will often time holidays during busy periods which they are made aware of at the beginning of the year causing remaining staff to be overloaded with work. When employees form a good work relationship with each other they will be punished for it. Employees are consistently ignored causing frustration. Employees are treated as though they are children and are given no respect. Management doesn't understand that in a multicultural environment employees have different cultural backgrounds and therefore interact differently and are punished if they do not comply with the mindset of the management. Team leaders have no leadership qualities. Server and internal systems have a lot of bugs.

Thank you very much for your honest response. I do appreciate you shared your feeling s with us. I do understand our workplace will not work for everyone and I am sorry it did not work for you. We have implemented regular one to one meetings with managers to help manage employee expectations and are constantly engaging with our staff to make sure they are not ignored. Our Directors have an open door policy and invite all employees to share their views and ideas. We have also introduced monthly update meetings where all employee queries can be addressed. Pros

Nice people for the most part. Location is good for North Manchester. Tidy company cars for senior staff.

Cons

Work/life balance none existent. Awful team management. Benefits the bare minimum they can get away with. Very high staff turnover. You will be forced to work from the office under the pretence you are a "key worker". Not a problem for me as I prefer office based work and am not particularly scared of COVID but this will not suit everyone. Management have no clue about how to deal with people, one colleague was told "I think you have mental health issues" - this is unacceptable from management level. I was told, in the middle of a pandemic, to go to a client site and encourage permanent workers to car pool with our candidates. There is little appreciation for what is acceptable behaviour in the current climate. No real ATS, no CV database, rely on job boards and Facebook for pretty much everything. Totally non COVID safe kitchen. Shared cutlery, shared microwave, kitchen should really be locked down in the current climate.

We understand that our high-performing culture may not suit everybody and a career in recruitment may be challenging however we actively support all our staff to have a healthy work/life balance. We always encourage our team to have honest and open communication with management so issues can be addressed during their weekly 1-2-1's and a course of action can be taken to support employees. As per your comment on Key Worker status. Thank you for your advice about how you feel we should make Workforce Covid secure. I am sure you will be pleased to know that we have recently been audited by the PHE and they were very happy with our office environment. You also addressed the point about our client visits. We want to assure you that our visits are being carried out based on a risk assessment and we work to the strict government guidelines and in line with our client’s Covid policies. Regarding your comment about benefits. We believe we offer a very competitive base salary and the opportunity to earn an uncapped bonus and this is welcomed by our team members together with additional benefits such as an enhanced holiday package, an extra day off for your birthday and company sick pay scheme. We wish you all the best for the future and in your new job.

- great work atmosphere - hard work is always rewarded and best talents developed - diverse and inclusive work environment - if you try hard but your position happens not to be best suited for you, you can be offered another role in a different department

Cons

Long working hours in peak time, long driving distances - I like to be on the road but it's not for everyone
