      Supportive team and managers. Opportunities to work integrated with other teams. Exciting start-up environment.

      Cons

      Scaled very quickly which was exciting but huge targets set by senior leadership level could sometimes place unnecessary pressure on teams below, affecting overall quality of output.

      Great learning environment with a fast pace

      Pros

      Great place to truly learn how to utilise AI in your role, a lot of companies say they are embracing AI but Zego will be the place where you become ahead of the curve and therefore imperative for your career! The people are brilliant. Truly brilliantly smart and genuinely great and kind. You will not struggle to find someone who will be willing to help you. There is little tolerance for toxic behaviour. The people here are humble geniuses. The pace is fast here. Do not come here if you like slow and considered. We are ambitious and we have serious drive. The way we work truly mirrors that and the bar is high. The London office is really nice too.

      Cons

      Sometimes the fast pace can give you a bit of whiplash!

      One of those rare places where you can see your work actually matter

      Pros

      The pace is real — things move fast and decisions actually get made. What I've valued most is that the work isn't abstract. Whether it's a product launch or a people initiative, you see the impact - it's not just effort for the sake of effort Genuinely smart, low ego people across the business. Insurtech is a niche world but Zego has managed to pull in amazing talent from both tech and traditional insurance which I think has led to the great results we've had and our profitability. There's real autonomy here. If you want to own something and shape it, the door is open. You won't be told what to do or how to do it — which is either a pro or a con depending on who you are.

      Cons

      The speed that makes it exciting can also make it scrappy. Priorities shift, and if you need a lot of structure or certainty to do your best work, you might find that challenging.
