    Amazing culture, great people, fast moving environment, innovative product and a team that are genuinely passionate about it, management that are personable and care

    Cons

    Some growing pains associated with going from 50+ - 300+. Normal stuff.

    Pros

    Zopa is a fintech with a people-first mindset.

    * Zopa cares about its employees and our customers. There are strong cross-team ties, and I consider many of my peers friends too.

    * I've had the privilege to be side by side with some of the most inspiring people I've ever met. Zopa is a place where you can not only learn more about the fintech scene and improve your skills, but you can also feel inspired and learn from some of the best leaders.

    * Great feedback is always available to improve just about anything you may be interested in: yourself, the product, designs, tech, strategy, what have you...

    Cons

    * While I appreciate the amount of care Zopa has for it's employees, at times it can feel like a bit of a splurge: their heart's in the right place, but at times their efforts may not have the desired impact. Just ask before spending, and you'll be able to offer competitive salaries.

    * The "do without asking" mentality at times bleeds into the tech side of the company, occasionally resulting in puzzling decisions.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the efforts in providing such a great environment with such great humans! Just keep an eye on employee compensation and tech decisions.

    Pros

    Strives to be the centre of people's money. Genuinely cares about it's employees and if they are fulfilled. Very fast moving environment. Continuous opportunities to move into new roles or even forge your own path.

    Cons

    Ambition can exceed reach at times. Comp is below industry average.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on what's highest priority and keep on it until it's done.

    People are amazing. It's a great place to work with a lot of opportunities to learn about different areas of the business.

    Cons

    Like any growing company there are sometimes systems issues/kinks to iron out but the people are great and everyone works together to get the job done!

    Nice small team. Pretty friendly customers. Great company atmosphere.

    Changes in management meant we were without a manager for a while.
