Cons
Among the many I'd list the primary ones :- - All year round they'll have menial work and nothing is built according to the standards. Management themselves nudge the developers to build sub-par, low quality softwares which is supposed to be used by Big/Small Financial organisations. No scalability, architectural discussions, nothing, nil, nada. -Only when nearing the financial year's end i.e. Feb-Apr, they'll set up unrealistic deadlines and make you do even more mediocre work whilst giving you no leaves (even sick, gaslighting you into feeling guilty for taking one.) Some people had to write directly to CTO for one day's leave post a major festival. -No work from home or work life boundary in any situation. Even if you're getting married, they'll ask you to come to office the very next day and if need be, will even call you in between pheras. -Schedule if you're an employee of that company : +Wake up @ 8:30 +Get ready and travel in Noida Traffic to reach ofc. +Reach office by 10. +Leave Office until 7:30, if you're lucky that day. +Travel again in Noida traffic to reach home by 8:30-9 pm. +Take a breather, and have dinner and go to sleep, if you're not having any pending or incoming deadlines and wake up again the next day to go to that soul crushing place. -Forget about your hobbies/me-time/gym/relationships. -They take great pride in being a startup and casually asks employees to take up any job in MNCs like TCS, Wipro if they don't wanna work in a "startup" like Zopper, whilst themselves not behaving like a startup. -They believe they're doing huge favour to the employees by the giving them a means to their livelihood, of course they're right but they think that they own their lives too. -At one point in time, in the middle of the office hours, guards come at frequent intervals(After lunch, in the morning, in evening.) and count the employees to maintain their attendance. - One had to mark their attendance and in-time/Out-time at the reception like Factory workers for 3 months. Reason being, they don't trust their own employees on using their own system(Darwin Box) to mark attendance and also running a social experiment on employees to make them come before a certain time i.e. 10: 30 am. -A culture of blame-shifting thrives there. Nobody wants to build something, learn something as everyone's busy saving their own a. -Managers suck, no room for learning or implementing good things. If you try to, they'll slowly kill your will by putting you under loads of menial and mediocre tasks. -As one user in some other review rightly pointed out, that they're just using this Insur-"Tech" tag to please investors, all they're just a bunch of digital brokers operating in B2B space and building low quality products to secure investments. -Meagre Appraisals. -If you're on higher salary, the management will downgrade your ratings and give you no appraisal or create situations so that you yourself leave the company. -They'll put people on PIP, without telling them the reason or how to improve themselves to avoid being out of job in such markets.(Pure sinister moves by Management & HR) -No drive/motivation to work and build something good, your peers will be depressed and you'll find everyone complaining every time. And one day when you'll look into the mirror you'll find, that you have become the same people who you once despised.
