    My manager(s) keeps pushing for team dinners at steakhouses while I am a vegetarian/vegan. If it were you, would you rather go with the flow and adjust or would you highlight your dietary restriction to your manager, see if he can be inclusive and let him pick another place for dinner. Thoughts? I am Indian, female.

      Pros

      3 week onboarding that gets you up to speed before expecting you to 'start' work. Real focus on supporting individuals so they can do their best work (from learning opportunities to 'covid WFH' funds.

      Cons

      Growing company so structure and processes are still coming in place. Still a certain level of ambiguity of what the right thing to do in certain circumstances but definitely less than some places I've worked.

      The onboarding is good, the team behind really make a difference at Adjust

      Cons

      The worst company I've worked so far. Adjust has a extremely toxic culture that management spreads and promotes. Promotion is based on friendship instead of on performance. This translates in a lot of unexpereinced people with no knowldge about what they are doing , so most of them use their time to fight for power with shady politics. There is no process, no vision, and no transparency from management. Big initiatives start and change constantly with no results. The direction of the company fluctuates constantly with no clarity on how or why. The place is full of politics, drama and bullying culture. A very toxic place.

      Great people and challenging tasks. My manager gives me the freedom to shape things myself and at the same time supports me.

      More communication from the management and between the departments could be increased. That is my only point that can be improved.

      Cons

      The middle level management is not good, politically driven and focus majorly on clerical work, sheet after sheets and not sales. In the end if you fail to achieve your target it all falls on your head, there is no work life balance. The manager is very dominating, the domination is so high that you cannot communicate within company without her consent, Its a horrible team to work, the manager has no basic business sense or strategy just include partnership team in every job, all rewards and blessings is always given to APAC and not to India, she does not understand the regional or product challenges, moreover she is pro management. The manager keeps on delivering different narrative to make you against team. The higher management dose not speak to people on ground and you cannot communicate with them directly, old force from India team are leaving job or their motivation level is down because of middle level management.
