Pros
- The product is great, and there is plenty of innovation happening constantly. - The company is quite 'agile' which means you will see a lot of different projects. - Some genuinely smart, talented, nice people to work with. - Great office location, the overall environment is quite pleasant with some nice perks (food, snacks, Friday drinks) - Can be a good learning experience.
Cons
- A handful of rigid personalities (again, depend in which team you land) put so much pressure on teams and people that it makes it very hard to enjoy the social/ fun part of the job. Especially as the company has a very aggressive growth plan, it means some individuals end up insanely overloaded. - Salary and core benefits (pension, maternity leave) are below average, and as pay rises are not really significant (without any bonus incentive - unless you are part of the management team), it means you stay stuck at the same pay level for a couple of years. Unfortunately snacks do not pay the bills! - As the company is still quite small, career possibilities are quite limited. If you get sick of your job, you will have to leave the company to find something else.
