I worked at iBus Media full-time

    Pros

Good communication with managers and HR team, monthly reviews, salary revision.

    Cons

Flexible work but only for a few employees, difference between different job positions, some of the workers have more advantages than others.

I worked at iBus Media full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The co-workers are great, and the atmosphere is fun and kinda startup-y. People are young and mostly motivated at iBus. The communication is very easy, no boundaries to reach top management. Hours are flexible and as the company is not yet fully formed into a corporation and there are no processes in place, you work with a lot of different areas, so you learn a lot.

    Cons

The top management seems to be inexperienced for what the company is going through - moving from a startup to a part of a corporation. There could be more transparency. Too many "managers", so the title doesn't mean anything anymore. The headcount is too heavy and not properly distributed - there are people who work weekends and there are people who come to the office to scroll Facebook. The salaries are quite low.

    Advice to Management

Hire a good communications specialist - that should ease things up internally while going through changes. Make sure HR does their job - and by their job, I mean less gossiping, more time for actual people. Be more transparent with your employees.

I have been working at iBus Media full-time

    Pros

-If you are lucky in some positions you can have a flexible schedule. -Not so much bureaucracy. -Great opportunities to grow and do new things.

    Cons

-As an international company you never get to know all the people who works with you, which is kind of odd. -There is a gap between the managers and the workers, so sometimes is confusing not knowing what are the company goals. -HR department is not very helpful.

    Advice to Management

More opportunities for workers to meet new departments/people, annual meetings, know the goals of the company...

    Cons

Depending on a job role: - Not 8 to 5 kinda work. - Working igaming media industry results in often shifting priorities, thus you can't avoid pressure at times. - Some roles can be very demanding and it becomes harder to keep work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

    - More communication across company and stakeholders is always a good things, especially about direction and goals. - Monitor workloads and make sure enough resources are dedicated to needed teams/projects. - Every employee should have clear vision of his/her work and responsibilities at any stage. - More concentration to key business units.

I have been working at iBus Media full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

(Note: non-developer positions may have different experiences) Great work/life balance: overtime is almost unheard of; option to work from home several days per month. Good culture: focus on solving problems instead of shifting blame; easy to stay out of office politics, if desired. High sense of ownership in all projects, great freedom in making technical decisions.

    Cons

Tiny teams - most projects involve only one developer. Not great for personal growth, gets in the way of some industry best practices, leads to feeling isolated. Many projects, few developers - you can end up hopping between vastly different projects multiple times per month. Sometimes this can get highly disruptive, leading to exhaustion and horrible productivity. Departments feel isolated from each other,...

I worked at iBus Media full-time

    Pros

Great people to work with for the most part. Opportunity to travel and learn about various parts of an online gambling business. Extremely challenging in a good way.

    Cons

Lack of direction and instability were apparent. Priorities shifted too often, and people were expected to do too many jobs at once.

    Advice to Management

Don't be afraid to tell people what they don't want to hear the first time. It's better than leading people on. Don't ignore key teams/team members.
