I have been working at itelligence full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - Exposure to work on a wide range of clients and industries on genuinely interesting transformation projects. - Great teams to work within and big emphasis on knowledge sharing and development. - Work from home contracts. - Transparent and easy to understand Bonus Scheme. - Wealth of highly experienced colleagues to learn from.

    Cons

    - Client depending there may be a lot of travel, but pretty standard within the industry and measures are in place to ensure make sure this doesn't fall out of balance.

I worked at itelligence full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good salaries and home working contracts

    Cons

Utilisable time is valued above all else. Staff a mere resources, not people with personal lives and aspirations. Depending on the team you work in, work/life balance can be acceptable to non-existent. The senior management are happy to play fast and loose with UK employment law if they decide someone is no longer valuable. Incompetent HR means that this behaviour is not challenged; in fact. HR are usually complicit in this. Self development is expected to be done in your own time. The management would rather hire new staff with the desired skill set and get rid of people to make room than give existing staff the time and opportunity to develop. Senior management is primarily populated by a narcissistic group of mates with a ‘jobs for the boys’ attitude. Low level bullying is commonplace.

    I worked at itelligence full-time

    Pros

Flexible working when required. Management were realistic and approachable Quarterly meetings + food and drink and Christmas nights out paid for by the company. Friendly and helpful colleagues Great all-round working environment where everyone gets on well together which makes all the difference.

    Cons

No real benefits unless you are fairly high up the chain. Yearly pay rise isn't great and it was evident that I would have to move to get a higher pay to improve my standard of living hence the reason I left.
