I worked at permanent tsb full-time

    Pros

Lovely work colleagues and good work life balance.

    Cons

No equal opportunity. If you are favored by your manager, you get promoted even if you aren't the best at the job.

I worked at permanent tsb for less than a year

    Pros

Good location in city centre, decent salary package, can manage a good work life balance if you set out to

    Cons

Not many opportunities for advancement and not much in the way of investing in staff development. Every cost is scrutinised but in a hap hazard way. It was always unclear who has the final say on spend or advancing a project. HR practices are especially poor/ non existent and management take little interest in their staff, leading to exceptionally high turnover. I witnessed a 75% turnover in our team of c. 15 over a 12 month period, including several who came in and left over a short period. IT infrastructure is archaic and leads to constant efforts put in to fix problems that shouldn't have happened in the first instance.
