Pros
This is such an amazing company to work for. They are very supportive and accommodating. The team work and management is unmatched. The work ethic is undeniable. The company is one of the best companies I’ve ever worked for.
Cons
Nothing I can fault as the company 100% cater to the needs of not only the business but ensure they’re staff are happy and well looked after and provide a great working environment.

Pros
I started working at PHS during the first lockdown, and was worried about support and lack of interaction. This is definitely not something that needed to concern me as everyone has been amazing. The training was delivered professionally and remotely, and I really do not feel that I missed out on the 'classroom' environment. All my work colleagues have been mega supportive and really helped me to become part of their successful team. My manager, Laky, shares his time, knowledge (and sometimes bad jokes!) to ensure we are all up to date with the latest products and news and supports me when I need it. The monthly updates are a great way to keep in touch will all aspects of the business. All in all a fantastic company to work for!

feel a real sense of team, working together for a larger goal. management have been supportive and the training in-depth. They always run incentives giving a real sense of worth. Team leader takes a real interest in me and is very approachable when issues arrive.

Pros
I have been with the company for almost 20 years and have seen many changes, started as driver and now in management, but the one thing that is constant is the drive and enthusiasm of the management and staff to ensure things get done. I work within a small team out of the Durham depot and we have always had great support from our other divisions. Fantastic flexibility in the job is a real advantage also.
Cons
Can be quite a bit of reactive works needing doing which can interfere with personal life on occasion, but these are rare and are to be expected within the industry.

Open office with a relaxed and fun environment. Friendly staff. Approachable and friendly management team including our MD who has a ' my door is always open' policy. Plenty of opportunities to better yourself and improve your skills. Always made to feel valued and appreciated.

Pros
I’ve worked at phs for a few years and loved the teams I’ve worked in and how the company works as a whole. It always seems that everyone has the same end goal in mind and all teams work together to make sure it’s met. I currently have a great manager! She’s new in phs terms (less than 2 years service) but her approach to everyone is great and she touches base with her team daily. There are a lot of employees with more than 10 years service, that speaks for itself!

Working for phs has opened my eyes to what the company is about! - it does a lot more than sanitary bin ! Team & manager are supportive - always willing to help you when they can.

As a new employee at phs, my role as a washroom service driver has been very enjoyable. The office staff at Exeter depot are very friendly and helpful and make you feel part of the team. I would highly recommend working for phs.

Canteen and great team of fellow workers. I was trained by my colleagues, as the only training received was to promote the company products and sales.
Cons
Management who take advantage of the workforce with poor pay and lack of empathy. Salary was pittance compared with a similar role anywhere else locally. My salary was paid incorrectly every single month. Extorted large amounts of money from my salary each month for a pension company called Nest, including my tax rebate for emergency tax paid for 6 months.
