      No development

      Pros

Reasonable team leader, 50% discount on sets. Effort is made for a very nice working environment. Many benefits.

      Cons

No development opportunities. There are so many advisors that unless your team leader promotes you everywhere, you don't have a chance (and most of them don't do this for you). No communication within the department. Even important updates aren't shared and advisors are finding things out the hard ways (like through customer complaints)

      Pros

      - I have never had a job where i actually look forward to Monday and weekdays, i absolutely love my job. I think i have the coolest job in the world! - Work/Life balance is real - no 'set' hours and family time is taken very seriously (typically Danish!) you will not be burning out because your team and manager will take care of you - Everyone has a passion for the brand and what LEGO as a whole is trying to achieve, a very collaborative working environment - The office - if you haven't seen anything online (FT times, The Secret World of LEGO Documentary) then take a look, it is exactly what you think it'd be like...and better - A friendly and unique way of working - NWOW and activity based working allows you to be independent and work how YOU work best - Management, there is no micro managing and hand holding

      Cons

      - Some processes aren't yet in place and some systems need updating - but the good part about that is when you create these you can shape them how you think would work best

A company struggling between being a kid's dream and a big business

      Jun 21, 2014 -

      Pros

Working with THAT brand behind you makes the company a pretty special place to be - most of the employees genuinely care about LEGO and its customers which makes for a very positive working environment, though I'd echo what one of the other reviews has said that if you hate the stuff it's probably not the place for you... The company is also very open internally about its projects and plans.

      Cons

The company's high growth recently has led to more pressure on every area of the business, which are not always equipped to deal effectively with it. The management structure, especially in the retail arm of the company, has led to a few people far removed from the 'action' holding a lot of decision-making power with largely incompetent middle managers beneath them, so trying to get anything major achieved can be incredibly frustrating. Low employee turnover (while generally a good thing) makes progression within the company almost impossible. Pay & benefits (in the UK at least) is also poor - the love for the company held by most employees is taken advantage of hugely in my opinion.

      Pros

Cool products Flextime English speaking work environment Friendly and supportive colleagues in the regional office

      Cons

High staff turnover and low knowledge retention in the organization Unstable and disorganized work environment Limited career development opportunities Inexperienced leadership team Messy processes and heave use of legacy systems Very stressful work environment due to tight monthly system deadline for submission of demand plans Poor staff satisfaction levels

      Pros

Usually like minded people, relaxed work environment. The LEGO Group is an excellent privately held company that treats its employees very well.

      Cons

Nothing that comes to mind, it's a retail job so if that's a deterrent.
