PhD in mechanical engineering here, and struggling to get a job. I would appreciate your feedback. I have 3 years of postdoc experience in bioengineering, 6 years of PhD work in a mechanical engineering lab, and 3 years in a chemical engineering lab. My GPA is 4/4 for PhD, 3.9/4 for masters, and 3.6/4 for bachelor, published 17 papers (11 first-author), 3 times invited speaker, and recipient of multiple research, fellowship, and mentorship awards. Why does HR seem more focused on shielding executives rather than tackling bias and handling complaints? It's concerning to see capable employees dismissed on an executive's whim, often due to personal biases. Also, the practice of hiring mainly from one company creates an exclusive circle, potentially affecting overall performance. HR needs to scrutinize and address these issues more effectively.

Recently I got an offer letter from Apple Inc. Team by TEKsystems/Allegis Group Japan as a Software QA Engineer. And this job is a 3-month rolling contract. And is there any risk that the contract will not be renewed after 3 months? I talked with some other guys on this same project and they worked there as a contract based more than 1 year. My recruiter also told me it will renew. Now I want to know about more this project. Please help me..... Thank you in Advance.
