Total Salary Range for Magellan Health Security Engineer in Columbia, MDNew! Get pay feedback

Over halfway through the week! I feel like I'm making a good pace, but there's also a lot of hard work to be done before the week closes out. If only my salary could match my productivity... 🤔 Anyone else wishing that lately?

I have been looking for a new role and went through a few recruiters.. two have now asked about my salary expectations... the roles I showed interest for were within my salary expectations and I mentioned exactly that. However, I got the response that they were looking to fill the role at the lower end of the range and then mentioned as max well below the minimum of the advertised range in the same breath as offering the role. Has this happened to you? Dare I take it? or push back?

I am a manger who has to give annual reviews to my employees. One of my employees is not getting a bonus this year due to cost cutting. I know this will demotivate her. Its out of my hands. How can I make it a more positive conversation? Or should I Just accept that it won't be. For what its worth, I'm not getting an extra bonus either and neither is her peer. I cannot speak for others.
