Meet another one of our 2020 G FORCE winners... Admir Sahman, our Team Lead and Junior Developer in the Loyalty Service team, based in Skovde! He was nominated for being the embodiment of our #BeOneTeam DNA 🧬 Easy going, loves helping out and interacting with the team. Being such a people-person, the transition to remote working was initially quite shocking, but he quickly adjusted by finding new alternatives, like daily catch ups and chats with the team. He joined as an intern in 2017, moved into a Junior Developer role in 2018, and was recently promoted to Team Lead. In his words, “my journey with Gamesys has been a fun and educational one!” 🤩

Last Thursday, we sat back on our sofas with popcorn in hand to watch the Oscars of our industry - the EGR Awards, and... what a night! 🍿 We scooped up a total of 3 awards: Operator of the year, Bingo Operator of the year and Employer of the year, and we were also highly commended in the Safer Gambling category. We couldn’t celebrate in person, but we certainly made up for it with lots of cheers over video chat! 🎊 The breath of these awards touch every aspect of our company and we’re thrilled that our employees’ hard work continues to be recognised across the industry!😁
Meet another one of our 2020 G FORCE winners... Jason Attard, our Design Team Lead, based in Malta. Jason was nominated for this award because he puts his mind, heart, and soul into every project he takes on ❤️ He joined the company in 2017 as a Senior Visual Designer and was promoted to Design Team Lead after two years. For him, the best thing about working at Gamesys is how supported he feels, not just in terms of awards or benefits (which are awesome 👏) but because he truly feels cared for... be it mental health, stress, inclusion, or other corners which may affect employees daily.
Boo from the best work crew! 👻 For Halloween we hosted The Great Halloween Gamesys Bake-Off Competition across our 13 offices! 🎃 We got baking and here are some of the Spooktacular creepy creations that our employees whipped up.
Meet one of our 2020 G FORCE winners... Pedro Santos, our Marketing Technology Manager, based in Malta. He was nominated for being one of the most talented Digital Marketers here at Gamesys. He joined us in January 2019 as a Digital Media Executive and since, has been promoted to Senior Digital Executive and most recently to Marketing Technology Manager. For Pedro, the best thing about his job is working with talented people, facing challenges together, and the family-like environment... which makes work fun!
We launched our company-wide awards program, G FORCE, at the start of 2020, to celebrate our real-life Gamesys superheroes. The inspiration behind this award title stemmed from our commitment to reward all those who accelerate towards greatness and aim for the stars! ✨ We have had 31 winners so far this year, and we’ll be featuring some of them on our channels here from time to time - watch this space!
In honour of World Mental Health Awareness Day, we would like to introduce The Gamesys Foundation. Its main objective is to preserve and protect the well-being of individuals suffering from mental health issues. Issues of mental health have long been met with stigma and mistrust within our society, but we believe that change is on the horizon. We envision a world in which mental health is treated with the same urgency and compassion as physical health – the Foundation is our way of striving towards that dream. Above all, the Foundation is the embodiment of our wish to build a kinder world. ❤️
