Everest feels passionately about nurturing young talent which is why we decided to launch a Youth Apprenticeship Scheme in April last year.
The aim is to inspire young people between the ages of 16-24 to explore a career in the Home Improvements Sector and gain practical skills to help them get ahead in the job market. Below is Kelvin McKenzie success story. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming an apprentice at Everest please contact Morveline at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Everest has a strong history of supporting local activities, as it brings the company and the community together. When the opportunity arose to sponsor Medway Ladies Rugby Team... we were certainly interested. The club is getting more established by the day and several players have even gone on to play for England or Scotland, so it is an honour for Everest to be part of their success. The new sponsorship is already making a huge difference to the club as we have now replaced their old and tired kits to brand new ones. We wish them good luck and we are very excited to see how they progress through the season.
We are getting into the Christmas spirit at Everest whilst helping to raise money for Save the Children UK!

The Best for the Best
Last Week some our Everest employees won an exclusive invitation into England’s training ground at St Georges Park. Attending were our operations team at Everest ranging from Store Persons, Regional Managers and Head of Departments. They were awarded due to their efforts and achievements as each employee had excelled in their part of the business. They received an all-expense paid night at the Hilton Hotel, an evening meal, a certificate of achievement and a bottle of Champagne. It did not stop there. They were greeted by the current England football Manager Gareth Southgate and his assistant manager Steve Holland. Also joining them were big names in the football industry, Sam Allardyce and David O’Leary. Here is our award winning Regional Conservatory Manager Paul Stevens. Paul has been with Everest for 7 years starting as a surveyor, progressing to Project Manager. Now he manages 8 Conservatory Project Managers in the North of England and Scotland who are responsible for the installations of all types of glazed extensions from the ground works to completion.
Our Field Sales Consultant Success Story
Brandon Day – Trainee Field Sales Consultant in Hampstead
Brandon joined Everest on the 25th September. He managed to secure his place on the Everest Training Course at St Albans which he describes as “excellent”. After completing a full week training program, he went out and started selling. A month and a half later and Brandon has already made £85,000 in sales!
We have asked Brandon how he has done this.
“Just go into the customer’s house with a positive attitude and be confident. Being confident has definitely played the biggest part in my success. You have to prove to the customer what you are quoting is the best they will get.”
We asked the 23-year-old if working at Everest is the best job his ever had, and his reply was not surprising at all.
“Everest is the best job I have had. There is so much earning potential. The hours are so flexible and you work local to wear you live. I am from north London so I know the area well. I know where is best to go out selling.”
We wish Brandon the best of luck in his career with Everest.
