Our Faststream teams came together to celebrate the festive season and reflect on a busy year. From ice skating and festive dining with our Crewing team, to the commercial and technical teams sharing great food and conversation in Southampton, and the Support team enjoying some friendly competition at the bowling lanes, it was a great way to recognise the year’s achievements. Thank you to everyone across the business for their hard work and commitment. We look forward to building on this together in the year ahead.
Faststream Recruitment Group are marking Christmas Jumper Day, a festive initiative that raises vital funds for Save the Children UK and the important work they do to support vulnerable children across the UK and around the world. Our teams have joined in by showcasing their most colourful Christmas jumpers. We hope you enjoy seeing them as much as we enjoyed taking part. By getting involved this year, our support contributes to helping children and families facing increasing challenges. The funds raised through Christmas Jumper Day enable Save the Children to help children stay safe, healthy and learning, creating meaningful change for their futures.
The Crewing team swapped the office for the ice over the weekend, celebrating a busy year with ice skating and a festive dinner at the Olive Tree. The biggest surprise of the day was discovering we’ve been working alongside an undercover semi-professional skater, which raised the bar for the rest of us. It was a relaxed and joyful way to round off the year together. (Don’t worry, we’re still hard at work.) We look forward to plenty of momentum as we head into an exciting year ahead.

An evening of connection, insight and opportunity. Laura Warner, Lead Recruitment Consultant, and Nisha Asokan, Senior Recruitment Consultant, recently represented Faststream Recruitment at the RINA Annual Dinner 2025, hosted at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden, London. With thought-provoking speeches – including a standout address from Commander Mike Forrester MBE – and the opportunity to meet Catriona Savage, President of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects, it was an event that reinforced why deep industry engagement matters. For our consultants, attending events like this isn’t just about hospitality – it’s about building lasting relationships, gaining sharper industry insight, and staying closely connected to the clients, candidates and conversations that shape the maritime world.
