  • Time flies when you're having fun! We can't believe its almost been a month since our latest Geek Week event at our Georgia Innovation Center. Over 400 GM IT employees participated in some of our top events like Geek Bowl, Escape from IT, Top coder and our Hackathon.

    We also got to hear from guest speaker Kathy Kay, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Pacific Gas and Electric Company on the topic "Does innovation exist in a century old utility?". Michigan, you're next!

  • Engineering New Grads! Want the chance to tackle real-world problems, provide unique insight and develop innovative solutions using your recently acquired collegiate knowledge? General Motors is hiring for the following roles in our rotational program:

  • The results are in from this year's Motor City Cup in support of the United Way! Throughout July and August, 24 teams battled it out on the soccer field in hopes of taking home the title. It was another great competition and fundraiser to help support the United Way and give back to the community, while having some fun.

  • Last month, employees had the pleasure of volunteering at various elementary and secondary schools in Detroit as part of the Grow Cody project! This is General Motors' 4th consecutive year helping revitalize the Cody-Rouge Neighborhood of Detroit. From locker painting and cleanup to outdoor beautification, it was a rewarding day for everyone involved, as we had the opportunity to give back to the community. #TeamGMCares

  • We see a world with a Zero Emissions future and electric vehicles play a key part in this vision. That's why we launched a partnership with Qmerit to make at-home charging easier and more accessible.

  • Meet Guy Samuels, an exterior designer who combined form and function to help bring the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette to life. Building a mid-engine Corvette required innovative design thinking, like Guy's expertise in integrating aesthetics with engine components.
