π¬ "As a group, we discussed the importance of giving back" π Residents at our St Austell service in Cornwall have received a certificate commending their generous donations to a local foodbank ahead of Christmas! π Individuals began their collection for the foodbankβs βreverse advent calendarβ on 1 November, donating one item for each day in advent!
π Last week more than 200 guests arrived at Dorchester Abbey for the annual Hft 'Coming of Christmas' fundraiser event. π΅ With twinkling lights, choral performances and poetry readings from people we support, the night was a huge success, raising over Β£5000 for learning disabled adults! π Read more about the event here
πOur Hft Bedfordshire service came together in heartwarming style to craft a Christmas tree representing peace, hope and unity. π Taking inspiration from their 'cultural calendar' theme from across the year, as well as John Lennonβs song, βImagineβ, the tree won the hearts of the judges, awarding them first place. π Take a look at their brilliant tree!
