Ensuring that Bobbers have the time to care for and bond with their newest (and arguably cutest) family members, this new policy aims to give our people the support they need and deserve.
We are so proud to announce that we have taken the next step in being that village for all future baby Bobbers by implementing a new and improved 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆. Ensuring that Bobbers have the time to care for and bond with their newest (and arguably cutest) family members, this new policy aims to give our people the support they need and deserve. 🐣 All parents (birth-giver, non-birth-giver, adoptive parent, foster parent, etc.) will receive 3 weeks of paid 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲, to be used any time during the first six months. This can be split up into two periods. 🍼 Employees will receive paid 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 for up to 15 weeks, as well as three weeks of 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲.
Lisbon, Portugal, SayHiToBob! Carlos Moedas, the mayor of Lisbon, welcomed CEO Ronni Zehavi at our new offices today. Our Portugal Lead and Director of Product Management, João Ferro Rodrigues, will be running our Lisbon R&D Center of Excellence, where we'll be hiring over 70 new Bobbers.
HiBob’s Perfecf Blend is a new concept at HiBob when coworkers from the different teams and even departments are randomly selected to have a morning coffee together. I know that on the one hand such random meeting sounds like a weird idea… but on another hand I think it’s one of the nicest way how a fast growing #startup in the era of hybrid work model can still encourage people to communicate with each other and to get to know each other a bit better.

HiBob raises an additional $150M in Series D funding!
This week we had our monthly HiBob All-Hands. The very first thing I did was address the market downturn and uncertainty. I explained how it affects our customers and us as a business. I told them where we stand, what our numbers and KPIs are, and that #layoffs do not need to concern them. I shared the "gas-brake" mindset and why it's required. I openly shared my plan to continue growing while ensuring we stay as efficient as we have been. Most importantly, I spoke about our organization's "Triple T": HiBob's north star: Trust, Transparency, and Teamwork. I am grateful that HiBob is in a place where we can currently provide #jobsecurity, and I'm working hard with my management team to make sure it stays this way. My team is trusting me to lead this company, and they deserve the same trust.
