Reaching our environmental goals requires commitment from our Morgan sites. Our Thouarcé team have recently launched a programme focused on reducing their food waste, which in turn reduces methane emissions from landfill. The team has set up a new food composting system on sit and are using this activity to raise awareness of sustainability measures, which they hope will continue in their team's home life too. A great initiative to educate and reduce environmental impact!
We are working hard to reduce our environmental impact and take responsibility as a business. Our half year Sustainability and Responsibility report details the progress we have made towards our sustainability goals so far this year. Read the full report.
We value the contribution our employees make. Together Morgan people are creating an inclusive culture, ethical and safe environment in which everyone can fulfil their potential. Investing in our people and their skills is an important part of building an environment where everyone can do their best work. With employees in 30 countries, language skills are an important part of the everyday for many of our people. Which is why we are thrilled to be in the process of launching goFLUENT (as our online language learning platform), to every one of our employees. Using online learning our people will be able to learn English, French, German, Italian, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch or Russian, using this hyper-personalised platform. We're proud to continue our investment in the development of our people; for their future and the future of Morgan.
This October we will again be supporting Mental Health Awareness Month. With a continued period of uncertainty and change around the world, raising awareness of mental health issues is more important than ever. Throughout October we will be sharing educational mental health issues content and highlighting some of the ways which our people have changed their approach to mental health at work. Follow our updates in October to join the conversation. #MentalHealthAwareness

Ahead of our second annual CyberSecurity Month in October, we are debunking some common cybersecurity myths: MYTH: A strong password will protect me. REALITY: Strong passwords are just the first step, two-factor authentication is also key. MYTH: The IT department is responsible for cybersecurity. REALITY: All employees have a responsibility to stay cyber smart. MYTH: You will know immediately if your system is compromised REALITY: It can take several months to find out you're the victim of a cyber attack. Remember to stay safe, stay protected and Do Your Part #BeCyberSmart

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. This day gives us all the opportunity to think about the role we can play in suicide prevention. The Samaritans have some great resources, focused on ‘Small Talk Saves Lives’, to help each of us do our bit.
