Company Updates

  • Recently at the Inside Ideas Group, we hosted a sustainability Mouthpiece Event. As a company, we recognise that we could do more to reduce our negative impact on our planet - so we have started making changes and are encouraging our employees to do the same. Our event was to promote the work of amazing organisations and charities who are making a real difference, discuss how we could make changes to our everyday behaviours both individually & as a community and pull together to create a pledge that we can be proud of. We were joined by Chris Gorell Barnes to discuss the work of Blue Marine Foundation, Jenny Costelloe from Wasafiri, Amina Folarin who spoke about Live and Learn and multiple local, sustainable catering companies to spread the word about what they are doing in the name of sustainability.

Oliver CEO Sharon Whale: how clients can avoid becoming inmates of in-housing

It's been quite the journey. In-housing still isn't understood in the way I'd like, but there's no denying it's become a valuable, mainstream marketing operation today. Household names have adopted the practice in recent years - the likes of Sky and Airbnb have built dedicated in-house offerings - and industry honchos as respected as former Unilever CMO Keith Weed have come out singing its praises.

  • Three chips and some vinegar for us please! 🍟🍟🍟😋 Congrats to our North America team and clients WestJet, Unilever and Manulife for scooping FOUR awards at this year's Chip Shop Awards. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMY7P

Burger King, Trump, Netflix, Nike, Amazon: The Chip Shop Awards US 2019 winners revealed

The world is filled with outrage, over-reactions and negativity and creatives really do have a hard time breaking through industry safety tape. Fears of offending, being too controversial and worrying about what others think often stifles that thinking outside the box mentality, and too often becomes an afterthought.
