Our co-CEO, Scott Galit, asked an important question. Why are we here? This goes back to when Payoneer was first founded. A vision. We knew that technology and the internet could, and would, change how the world does business. We longed for a more interconnected world. John Caplan, Payoneer's co-CEO, believes that opportunity is not evenly distributed globally. But talent is. And don't these talented individuals deserve a partner to help them seize more opportunities? Payoneer has always focused on people; the needs of people. Challenges and solutions. Focusing on how to deliver real value for real SMBs around the world creating a universe of opportunity.
"I'm teaching them and assisting them in educating themselves on how to get an international career rather than just opening an account and working and getting paid." Bruno Seixas, Marketing manager, Brazil. Software developers and content creators frequently leave Brazil to pursue international careers, but this does not have to be the case in our day and age. With this in mind Bruno Seixas started to think and act differently. He created a website were you can find videos and interviews about international career, How to speak English properly, interview tips and more. Next step was the biggest tech event in Sao Paulo – Campus Party. A 5 days event where Software Developers, tech professionals and content creators meet to talk to each other about tech, coding, developing, web development and etc. Our Payoneer team made some noise with a cool 12 meters working station, beautiful T shirts and umbrellas and perfect smiles. to top it all off, three of our customers, from Nice House, Workana, and Codehouse, gave motivational talks and shared career development advice.
Team Payoneer had an amazing weekend in Karachi. We kicked off with our Meetup held at Kickstart . Happy to report that it was a houseful and we could not be happier to meet and engage with our customers and hear them out. The team educated the audience about the complete suite of services/products offered by Payoneer to help them in their digital business payments. This was followed by an exciting and super insightful session led by Imran Khan , CEO and Co-founder RAPTR GAMES. He shared how the gaming world in Pakistan is booming and has immense potential to grow! All in all, we all had fun while learning new and amazing things. We can't wait to be back in Karachi soon!
