Great message from our CEO Mick this Labor day! "Really great to see ResMed in the top 10 companies to work for in the Forbes survey of companies published for the US Labor Day holiday this weekend. ResMed is the #1 company in the healthcare devices and services category! We take care of our customers, our team of ResMedians, and our shareholders. Without our customers - from patients to providers to physicians to payers - we can’t keep the lights on... Without our amazing team of ResMedians we can’t keep this great growth going... And the result is great growth for our shareholders... Thanks to Forbes for recognizing our focus on the well-being and health of our amazing team... I like the call-out of our on-site health and wellness programs!" http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMcC8

This week Mick and Rob spent some time with our 2019 interns sharing lunch and a productive round table discussion. We were able to ask about ResMed's strategy, and what does an average day look like for the CEO and COO? Mick and Rob shared that the primary key to success, "Learn to fail but don't fail to learn." "It is okay if you aren't successful in everything you do, as long as you learn and grow from the so-called failure."
What are you working on today? I’m building a Connected Health Innovation hub in Dublin. We’re exploring how we can use digital technology to engage and support our patients and customers for what they will need in 2025. My family relocated to Dublin from Sydney; ResMed is excellent at providing global opportunities to learn and grow. What excited you about coming to work? I’m excited about being a part of bringing ideas to life. I’m part of a small team that gets to play with the latest technology. We are adopting a lean innovation framework where we learn through building prototypes, conducting experiments, and generating evidence in an iterative loop. This means we learn or fail fast. We are focused on the patient; engaging and motivating them and supporting them through their therapy journey. We want to understand and empathize with them. Why are you passionate about what you do? I’m passionate about the tech, the people, and our purpose. I’m building a small team from the ground up, bringing together multi-disciplinary innovative thinkers to explore the latest technology
