We’re excited to share we’ve launched an AI-enabled initiative, CareTranscribe, in conjunction with Microsoft’s Dragon Copilot technology. Through this project, Sciensus is exploring how AI-enabled note creation can support our nurses in accurately capturing clinical conversations and help reduce administrative burden, while also enhancing the quality and continuity of patient interactions. As part of our overall commitment to leveraging digitally-enabled tools to improve patient outcomes, Sciensus is broadly exploring how unstructured data – enriched with context such as patient sentiment, drivers of non-adherence, and early indicators of disease progression – can enable insight-led collaboration with pharma and biotech partners to better understand patient behaviour and inform evidence generation and service design. We believe this more dynamic and sophisticated approach to working with data will support strategic decision-making for biopharma companies, reduce administrative burden for healthcare providers, and ultimately deliver more meaningful outcomes for patients.
For some patients, long distances and repeated days away from home to attend the cancer centre make treatment feel impossible to sustain. George's story illustrates how at-home cancer treatment transforms outcomes. Living outside Belfast, he previously faced three full days every fortnight at the centre for chemotherapy. Receiving treatment in the familiarity and comfort of his own home allowed him to continue his advocacy work promoting early diagnosis in farming communities.
Sciensus welcomes Dr Sherif Raouf as our new Clinical Director of Cancer to expand and enhance cancer services portfolio. With over 25 years of experience in clinical oncology and innovation, Dr Raouf joins at a pivotal time as we expand our cancer care capabilities across the UK. His leadership will strengthen our decentralised oncology model, enabling patients to receive complex treatments safely and effectively at home - while advancing our mission to connect patients, technology and data for better health outcomes. Sciensus is the leading provider of private cancer services outside of the hospital setting in the UK, delivering compounding capabilities, chemotherapy treatments and specially trained clinical nursing staff. This expansion of cancer services supports the continued evolution of our model, providing commercial capabilities and in-market knowledge to realise the value of the complex European market, while supporting the health and quality of life for patients. Dr Raouf’s appointment reinforces our strategic vision to connect patients, technology and data - driving the next chapter of Sciensus’ growth and redefining access to world-class cancer care.
Recently, Sciensus came together for an All-Colleague Town Hall, where CEO, Christian Tucat, and the leadership team shared our corporate strategy and set the vision for the next 5 years of growth and innovation. The session brought our teams together for strategic alignment - driving focus, purpose, and belief in where we’re heading. In a ever-changing healthcare landscape, our priority is clear: deliver speed, scale, and confidence to become the fastest route to patients in Europe - maximising access to medicines, accelerating product launches and helping our partners achieve full commercialisation. As we move forward, colleagues will play a crucial part turning strategy into results and shaping the future for patients, partners, and our business. At Sciensus, giving back is part of who we are and is at the heart of our corporate commitment to People, Patients, and Planet. Recently, 37 colleagues took on an incredible challenge, hiking up Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain, to raise funds for our chosen charities: Metabolic Support UK, Mind, and The Woodland Trust. Through wind, rain, and plenty of steep steps, our teams supported one another all the way to the summit. The sense of teamwork, encouragement, and shared purpose made every step worth it. What began as a physical challenge became something much more - a reminder of what’s possible when people come together with passion, resilience, and heart. Together, we raised £4,157, a huge well done to everyone who climbed, supported, or donated.
We’re proud to share that three of our clinicians have been recognised for their outstanding commitment to patient care and nursing excellence, earning the prestigious Queen’s Nurse title, a nationally recognised mark of distinction awarded by the The Queen's Institute of Community Nursing. More than a title, the Queen’s Nurse honour reflects leadership, dedication and innovation in community nursing across the UK. With only around 3,000 Queen’s Nurses nationwide, this accolade is an exceptional achievement and a testament to Sciensus’ ongoing commitment to developing nursing talent and advancing clinical practice. Alison Griffiths, Director of Nursing and Clinical Operations, said: “At Sciensus, we pride ourselves on having a highly skilled nursing workforce, and we are extremely proud of our team. I am thrilled that Rebecca Sutherland, Helen Adshead and Sally Carrahar have been recognised with the Queen’s Nursing Award, which acknowledges their exceptional level of skill.”
Building on our 30-year heritage of bringing the right medicines to the right patients and engaging them in their care, we’ve broadened our global capabilities and strengthened the support we deliver across the region by expanding our presence in Switzerland. Our new facility in Rotkreuz, Switzerland is a key component of our global expansion that enhances our offering, giving patients more choices and customers more opportunities. We unlock the value of Europe because providing life-changing therapies to patients is our common goal.
VANtasy Football 2025 Champions – five games, five wins one trophy. Together We Win! ⚽🏆 From the first kick-off to the final whistle at St George’s Park, our colleagues showed grit, determination and captured the VANtasy Football 2025 title with a 3–0 victory in the final, without conceding a single goal.
