Guardian Wealth Management Abu Dhabi appoints new regional manager Guardian Wealth Management have today announced the appointment of James Ferguson as Regional Manager of Abu Dhabi. Level-four qualified James Ferguson, who joined GWM in 2015, is currently studying towards chartered status with the Chartered Insurance Institute. Ferguson’s career started at Coutts & Co private bank in London before moving a few years later to the Bank of England. After seven years in banking, in 2008 he moved into private client work, working as an appointed representative of Legal & General and in 2012 became an independent financial adviser with Enness Private Clients. Commenting on the appointment , Regional Director Hamzah Shalchi said; "James is part of a new breed of financial planner with a high level of qualification who possess the strong leadership skills needed to transition the business in this ever-changing regulatory environment. Introducing Peter Gollogly Part of Guardian Wealth Management’s success over the years is the achievements of those who have worked their way up through the ranks. One such person, Peter Gollogly is a true example of the meritocracy within GWM. Peter joined GWM as an intern during his third year at Strathclyde University, before returning after completing his BA Honours degree in Business. Since then, Peter has progressed through the ranks from trainee financial planner in Frankfurt to his most recent posting as Area Manager of GWM Switzerland. Peter joined GWM after being introduced to the company through a family member who previously worked for the group. “As an intern, I was given a comprehensive insight into the workings of a Wealth Management office ranging from Administration, Business Development, Para-planning and Portfolio Construction."
