We’re delighted to share that Fritz Joussen has been honoured as one of the Top CEOs in 2019 on Glassdoor - one of the world’s largest job search and recruitment sites. Winning this award is down to the feedback provided by our colleagues across the TUI Group.
Christian Sutherland-Wong, Glassdoor President and Chief Operating Officer said: “Glassdoor’s Top CEOs award continues to be more competitive every year, and I congratulate each leader on their achievement. Today’s job seekers are looking for leaders who share their values and will empower them to bring their full selves to work. More and more, we’re seeing Top CEOs make decisions to shape the culture of their organisations to help recruit and retain quality talent, which has a direct correlation to fuelling business success.”
Amy first joined TUI in 2016 as part of our Graduate scheme and has been recognised on this year’s TTG Media Ltd “30 Under 30” list which identifies future travel leaders. Recently promoted to Senior Commercial Manager in Ancillaries, Amy is very much one of our rising stars!
Our colleague Kinnari Ladha will be discussing "The digital transformation journey at TUI" at the forthcoming WiD UK and TUI meet-up. Find out more and register to join this event on Thursday, 4 July - http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vM9Z6

When faced with a mountain of discarded pillows that had been used by customers on flights over the course of the season, TUI Airway’s Aircraft Service Manager, Laleta Jnagal, decided to find charitable causes who could use them.
Working with her TUI Destination Experiences colleagues, several worthy causes were identified in Mexico, Florida and Mauritius. Laleta, along with the support of Nick Carter, started putting plans in place to get the pillows, otherwise destined for disposal or landfill, out to the relevant destinations.
Receiving the first delivery of pillows in resort, Nick saw first-hand the impact they had on the local community, “These pillows have brought smiles to the faces of so many who needed them. It was a real eye-opener to see how much joy can be brought to someone with a simple pillow to make their days that little bit more comfortable. We’d like to thank Laleta, and TUI Airways, for thinking about our local communities in resort.”
Well done to everyone involved in this great initiative.
We had such a fantastic time hosting a lunch for Age Concern at our offices in Luton. It was the perfect opportunity for a natter, some food, a quiz and a bit of a dance ☺️
A big thank you to everyone involved

We're very proud to be supporting one of our local Luton charities. Our in-house catering team BaxterStorey have agreed to contribute pre-packaged sandwiches, baguettes, wraps and fresh fruit pots that are leftover at the end of the day to NOAH Enterprise.
NOAH (New Opportunities And Horizons) is a Luton-based Homelessness charity offering hope and support to people struggling against exclusion.
