    Virtual College collaborates with Day One to provide simulation-based training

    Online learning specialists, Virtual College and Day One, are working in collaboration to provide simulation training which delivers a true-to-life, immersive learning experience. The simulated systems are designed to closely mirror the look, feel and functionality of any programme, so learners can practice their roles via online learning resources which are absolutely true to life.

    Virtual College has triple trophy triumph at Brandon Hall Technology Awards

    These awards recognise organisations from around the globe that have successfully deployed programmes, strategies, processes, systems and tools that have achieved measurable results. Now entering its 23rd year, the programme was one of the first of its kind in the learning industry, and is often called the 'Academy Awards' by learning, talent and business executives.

    Virtual College's work with Home Office wins gold at TJ Awards

    The TJ Awards, now in their 12 th year, recognise the ingenuity, creativity, passion and hard work of learning and development professionals from around the world. This year the awards ceremony took place at the Brewery in London on Tuesday 5 th December.

    Virtual College strikes twice at global Learning Technologies Awards

    Widely recognised as Europe's largest L&D event, the awards saw over 800 global industry leaders gather in London on the 29th November 2017 to celebrate the best in learning technologies both in the UK and worldwide. The winners were decided after several days of online and face to face presentations to the judging panel.

    The annual Learning Awards recognise outstanding examples of high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence in Learning and Development with entries received from a huge range of sectors from around the globe. Virtual College has been successfully shortlisted in two awards categories: Rising Star Award Virtual College's Head of Learning Technology Consultancy, Hayley Khan, has been shortlisted in the 'Rising Star' award category.

  • We love food at VC and enjoyed creating our cook book for the MacMillan Coffee Morning which including a recipe from Patrick Drake who has released some bite-sized courses for busy cooks!

    Virtual College and '60 Second Chef' launch bite-sized courses for busy cooks

    Patrick Drake, 'The 60 Second Chef', is a presenter on Discovery, National Geographic and Fox, and the head chef of the world's largest recipe box service, HelloFresh. His mission is to make cooking and great food accessible to everyone. Patrick came across Virtual College when he completed his first online certificated food hygiene course.


    Virtual College shortlisted in four Learning Technologies Awards 2017 categories

    The shortlisted nominations have been reached following a summer of deliberations by an independent judging panel, comprising over 40 experts organised by the eLearning Network. Entries were received from a huge range of sectors, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, finance, transport, utilities, retail, leisure and communications, as well as national and international government, major public and membership bodies and leading international education brands.
