Job Description

Rosenblatt are seeking a solicitor to work alongside a Corporate Partner in our non-contentious Commercial/IP/Technology/Media arm.

The ideal candidate will be 4-6 year pqe and as the role will involve working for a small team of only 2, they will need to be looking for real ownership and accountability (and a desire to grasp the need to be the Partner's right hand person).

Candidates from either in-house or private practice will be considered, however Rosenblatt wants to emphasise the level of pqe and where private practice, a high level of direct exposure to clients and variety of work.

Candidates whose previous experience is very media heavy may not have the general technology and data understanding required for the role, however, some media experience would complement the key technology/data exposure we are looking for.

Previous experience sought to include:

-Drafting, reviewing and advising on a range of commercial contracts, manufacturing, distribution, introduction and other agreements;
-Protection and exploitation of intellectual property including licensing, TM coexistence;
-Software development, systems integration, outsourcing agreements;
-Franchise agreements;
-Data protection compliance and advice, including a good knowledge of the GDPR; data sharing and processing agreements;
-Drafting terms and conditions for a variety of online and on-premises T&Cs, privacy polices;
-Warranty and disclosure advice in corporate transactions.

Salary up to £70k plus a benefits package to include 27 days holiday, contributory pension scheme (3% employer contribution), Death in Service (2x annual salary), Season ticket loan and Childcare vouchers.

Candidates should send their CV and covering letter to beng@rosenblatt-law.co.uk

      Pros

      This is a fun, creative and outward looking firm which has some great clients with whom we have fantastic relationships and who return to us over and over again to assist with all aspects of their business. We punch well above our weight.

      Cons

      There is no canteen and only one shower but then there are several gyms within a few minutes' walk and masses of sandwich bars and restaurants.
